Kayak Hotels Group was founded by Kalpak Shah in 2009. Mr. Shah's attention to detail and hands-on, innovative approach sets the tone for short and long term, sustained success.  

 

Kayak aims to maximize profitability for investors, shareholders and partners through product development and management services.

Kalpak Shah, founder and CEO of Kayak Hotels Group, seized his operational skills, revenue optimization and financial experience in to a hotel management company to operate hospitality properties. Shah owns most of Kayak Hotels Group's managed hotels. He plays key role in acquisition, franchising, financing, construction and opening of new hotels. He is focused on new development, strategic acquisition, long term planning and growth of Kayak Hotels Group.

 

Kalpak graduated with degree in MS Computer Science from NewYork Institue of Technology. After graduation he worked as an Analyst in ADP brokerage services in Wall street. By 2003 he acquired his first hotel and within a short span of ten years Kayak Hotels Group's portfolio grew to nine hotels. KHG's portfolio includes Marriott, IHG, Choice, Carlson, Wyndham and Best Western franchises.


Kalpak's leadership and demand for excellence has produced superior returns to KHG's investors. 

Brandon L. Snuffer oversees the day to day operations of Kayak Hotels Group. He is also responsible for providing leadership to all key corporate and management staff. Brandon touts a total of 19 years of Hospitality and Leadership experience with Brands such as Best Western, Choice, I.H.G., Marriott, Radisson and Wyndham. 
 
Previously Brandon served as the C.O.O. & President for a hospitality management company in Atlanta, Georgia.  As a high energy, fiscally conscious, and goal-driven executive, Brandon approaches each new business challenge with a flair for innovation, creative problem-solving, and always keeps the bottom-line of profits and shareholder returns in mind. Snuffer’s comprehensive leadership experience and determination for revitalizing and re-positioning under-performing hotels provides Kayak clients with an intuitively authentic leader with a proven record of success.

Brittany H. Alger

Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing

Brittany H. Alger joined the Kayak Hotels Group team with in January 2018. She is directly responsible for all entities that drive Group Sales and Marketing. Brittany has 12 years of Hospitality experience ranging from Executive Chef to Area Sales Manager with multiple brands under the umbrella of Starwood Hotels and most recently was the Area Sales Manager for Great Wolf Resorts directly responsible for the Corporate, Association and Government markets in the Williamsburg, Virginia and Poconos, Pennsylvania property. Brittany received the Top Sales Manager Award for Great Wolf Resorts in 2015 for her exuberant and record breaking sales efforts for the Williamsburg property.

 

Brittany is extremely active in Meeting Professionals International, Virginia Chapter as she currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and is currently slated for President Elect for the 2018 – 2019 year. Brittany received the Young Professional Award in 2017 for her outstanding contributions to the event and meeting industry

Jason Thompson

Corporate Director of Finance 

Jason Thompson joined the Kayak Hotels Group team in March 2019. Jason oversees the accounting functions for Kayak Hotels Group and their hotels. Jason has 19 years of hospitality experience with 18 years in a financial role both at  the property and corporate level. Throughout Jason’s career in the hospitality industry he has worked with both limited and full-service hotels including brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Starwood, Choice, Wyndham and various privately-owned boutique hotels.

 

Jason is extremely analytical and is always reviewing all aspects of a hotel’s operation looking for opportunities to maximize profits. Jason’s experience brings years of assisting and mentoring department heads at the property level in managing cost control through labor, cost of sales, purchasing practices, and maximizing efficiency and productivity.
